Rail Drilling Machines
Rail drilling machines are used to drill holes in rails at desired locations, we manufacture rail drilling machine in many variants and these machine can be used to drill holes in UIC 60 kg rails and 52 kg rails.
PRODUCT DETAILS
We manufacture many variants of Rail Drilling Machines i.e. conventional heavy duty rail drilling machine, light weight rail drilling machine and manually powered rail drilling machine. All these machines are equipped with appropriate gear boxes for power gain from source.
Rail Drilling Machine : Based on conventional design, it the most heavy duty, rugged and long lasting machine among all formats. Weighs 65 kg approx. and is engine mounted for portability. This machine works with typical taper shank drill bits with adapter. It complies to RDSO specifications, and is most commonly used rail drilling machine across country.
Light Weight - Rail Drilling Machine : Conceptualised for light weight, this machine works with core/annular bits only which make it more expensive in operation/use as compared to counterparts. It is light duty machine among all formats. Weighs 25 kg approx. and is engine mounted for portability. This machine comes with cutting oil/water pump for smooth drilling operation.
Manually powered Rail Drilling Machine : Extremely useful machine for remote working areas where access to fuel is difficult. This machine can do drilling of holes upto 12 mm using regular twist bits and higher dia holes can be drilled using annular bits on adapter. It is manually powered machine and is equipped with a smooth gearbox for power/speed gain and hence very economical in operation. Its a boon for railway maintenance teams.
